Aaron Brandt is an artist located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
In the studio, he is focused on utilizing digital, analog, and experimental practices to create work. He experiments in different forms of illustration, sculpture, and photography to find connections. The work is balanced between systems, internally, within himself, and externally, within society. He creates by playing in a variety of ways, utilizing figuration, symbolism, and abstraction as a motif in his art. This process involves alternative printing and collaging methods to combine with digital media and physical found objects. This is how he chooses to allegorize modern conflict we see activating our lives.
In this practice, the utility of digital creation is used to gain reference material and run programs to develop the work over time, using similar themes and even reusing motifs from past work. The art strives to develop a style that works in duality, positioning the human connection adjacent to digital convenience, commenting on the presumed perfection the digital world implies.

- I work to pass knowledge on to others as an educator. My work is not only the physical art you see, it is the teaching and sharing of technique and art knowledge. Contextualizing and creating work with others is what I strive to do and get better at every day. This is a commitment to learning and growing through life. Goal-oriented learning has helped me figure out how to explore life, and I feel anyone who is willing to try something creative can succeed; sometimes you have to change your perspectives.
